An opportunity has arisen for a Liquor Operations Manager in Te Aroha.
The Te Aroha Jockey Club is a well-established and respected club in the Racing Industry who hosts up to 12 racedays each season.
This is a casual position setting up and running the liquor operation on racedays. The successful applicant must have or be prepared to get a Liquor Managers Licence and be physically fit, energetic, and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
Racedays can fall on weekends and public holidays. Few hours required outside racedays.
Varied Duties will include:
Arrange the required bar staff prior to racedays.
Staff Inductions, H&S Inductions
Setting up Bars for racedays
Managing Staff on Racedays
Stock Control
Ensure operation operates with in the Liquor Licence
Ensure the Host Responsibility Plan is followed
Good systems are already in place with a strong management and administration team supporting this role.
The successful applicant must have:
Excellent Time Management Skills
Have a strong Customer Service focus
Have good Staff Management Skills
Have a clean NZ Drivers Licence
Be a NZ resident
